社会兼职:四川省学术带头人后备人选,中国草学会能源草类专业委员会常务理事,中国草学会牧草育种专业委员会理事,中国草学会牧草生物技术委员会理事。

主要教学工作: 主讲本科生《牧草及草坪草种子学》,《能源植物开发利用》,《牧草栽培及加工学》。主讲授硕士生《能源植物开发利用》。

主要研究内容:牧草种质资源创新及育种;能源草观赏草资源开发

主要教学、科研成果:获得中国草学会科技进步二等奖(排名第5),四川省科技进步三等奖(排名第三)。第一作者或者通讯作者发表SCI论文15篇(最高IF=5.2,累计IF25.6),副主编学术专著一部,主研审定登记国审牧草新品种2个,主持选育牧草新品系3个进入国家区域试验网。授权国家专利2项,参与颁布地方标准6项。

获四川农业大学教学成果一等奖1项。主编《饲草生产学实验》,参编 “十二五”规划教材《饲草生产》(科学出版社)1部。已合作指导毕业2名博士研究生,一导指导3名硕士研究生毕业。主持国家自然基金青年项目1项,部省级项目3项,横向课题2项。先后参与科技部973863、支撑计划、农业部成果转化、现代农业产业体系、国家自然基金等部省级科研项目10项。教学方面获得四川农业大学教改一等奖(第4完成人),连续两年指导学生获得挑战杯省级三等奖。
